Promises don't last forever.

forever always comes to an end

1 note

The End.

We had a story. It was so realistic, we actually believed it was going to happen. We just had to wait, be patient. You’d read the story to me all the time, every time we saw each other we spoke about the story, discussed the possibilities. What would happen next? That’s what made it exciting. Until the next chapter came. The chapter where you left me. Left me on my own, no one to love me, no one to share my dreams with. I knew then, our story had came to an end. Not all stories have a happy ending, brace yourself for that.

Four-year-old Paige Bennethum really, really didn’t want her daddy to go to Iraq. So much that when Army Reservist Staff Sgt. Brett Bennethum lined up in formation at his deployment this July, she couldn’t let go. No one had the heart to pull her away. Everyone should stop reblogging hipster photos and reblog this, it won’t ruin your ‘type’ of blog.
